My passion for construction and carpentry work began at 12 years old learning how to build cabinets in my grandfather's workshop. I never stopped building and learning after that summer, and expanded my knowledge into home remodels, general home repairs, and new construction. In 2016, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Montana Tech.
After spending a summer interning in Alaska, my wife and I were hooked on the Alaska lifestyle and moved to Anchorage shortly after graduation. My passion for construction and desire to start my own business led me to change career paths soon after moving. I began with repairs and updates to my own investment property, and eventually started Anchor Contracting with the goal of building a professional general contracting business anchored in quality and integrity.
I spend much of my free time outdoors exploring our big Alaskan backyard with my wife Angelina and Yellow Lab Dusty. We hike, climb, bike, and ski all over Anchorage and throughout Alaska.
