Level-Headed Carpentry is a success story with very humble beginnings. The first projects - mostly cabinets among other projects - were finished in the Grams' garage. It didn't take long before growing pains meant a move to Cudahy and a 3,000 square foot shop. The growth continued and the business has moved to its current locale with 8,000 square feet to better handle the automated machines to do the cabinets and custom millwork that are our signature products.

In 2006, a showroom was built to showcase the workmanship and give our customers a better idea of what we can and will do for them and their project. Bob Grams and his team of craftsmen can handle it, from an extreme makeover to something small like a powder room update. Big or small, make the call to Level Headed and you'll be glad you did! Bob Grams founded Level-Headed Carpentry in 1996, but his experience working with his hands and wood is virtually life long.

Bob started remodeling and building rec rooms with his father and grandfather by the age of 13.

What is the minimal ceiling height in a basement?
It is seven feet.
You can drop around the pipes and heating ducts, but at least 50% of the basement must be at seven feet.
